Ensure you learn the basics of online marketing, how to grow your business with information and other digital products.

List Building
You really do need a subscriber list, it is crucial.  The bigger the list the better, for your list to be successful you need to deliver quality information which is relevant to your prospects passions.

Affiliate Marketing
Develop your knowledge on affiliate marketing.  If you do not have a product or service which meets your prospects need then promote an affiliate product, also works if what you are promoting compliments what you are offering.  Great thing about affiliate marketing is that you are promoting another persons product or service but it has cost you yourself nothing to develop or create the product albeit that you receive only a % of the sales revenue.

Traffic
To have a successful online business you must be able to generate traffic.  It is the lifeblood or your business.  Learning how to get great targeted traffic is not hard, so this should be top of your list.

Create your own products, that way you get to keep 100% of the revenue generated from the sales.  The number of sales will fluctuate from day to day / week to week so ideally have several or many products that are income generating for you.  Many online busiesses choose to include membership sites in their business model as it is a great source of regular income.

It is also possible to generate automated posts and information relevant to your target market.  You do not need technical or design skills to get started online and you do not need to be a professional writer.  Wow, I bet that is a relief for many of you.  If you use a wordpress website then you are able to use free templates and get going very quickly.  There is a load of information online which you can use to get your website filled with quality content really quickly.

When Google‘s AdSense first appeared, a lot of people doubted Google’s idea would be marketable and actually generate any profits. Yet now it is probably the most well known PPC venture in the world. The creaters at Google never go and do something without assessing not just whether or it will be profitable, or exactly how profitable.

AdSense isn’t just profitable for Google, it generates money for the people who advertise through AdWords and very profitable for publishers who use it to make earnings which a times are simply tremendous.

Is Adsense a good deal for everybody? You hardly ever come across something that’s profitable for everyone in the chain. So why would AdSense be any different. AdSense as it stands today gives benefits for everybody in the game because it exploits a gap in the Internet’s advertising model.

The Internet is a very interactive environment, and its interactions come from the people who are browsing. They choose whether or not to follow a certain link and the term “navigating” is probably the most precise one at describing this situation.

AdSense is successful because it links together buyers and sellers. Google know there are people out there that want to buy stuff and people who want to sell them what they’re interested in. And Google AdSense helps them find each other.

It works for the visitors, because the model is very transparent. You don’t see a huge graphic banner which tries to lure you into buying something. You see some words and if you like what you see you are able to just click it. The visitors don’t have that feeling of someone trying to lure them into spending money.

Adsense works for the AdWords advertisers because their ads go everywhere. Not only will they find themselves listed in Google’s search which gets vast hits daily, up front without working as much for SEO and waiting so much.

Their ads can reach any website that deals with anything similar to what they’re trying to sell. They could never pull off such great advertising by themselves. Google’s AdSense is a publisher’s best friend and this is because the ads are contextual,they somehow relate to the keywords you deal with on your page. When visitors come to your site which deals with a certain topic, you already know they’re interested in that subject.

Google knows companies which would like to sell your visitors something related to their topic. Google wants your visitors, you want Google’s advertisers and the visitors just want to buy stuff. That is the essence of what makes AdSense a great deal for everybody.

We have to appreicate how well thought out Google Adsense is and yet how simple this scheme really is too.

A lot of people USE Google‘s AdSense program, but some find it too uncertain or just not fitting the requirements for their an ad campaign. It also features real time reporting of your ad status. The site mails a cheque each month, provided that you earn more then $25.00, rolling over earnings for the next month if you don’t. AllFeeds ntegrates with Google AdSense, maximizing your AdSense earnings.

MarketBanker (http://www.marketbanker.com)
MarketBanker gives you the option to set the pricing for your site as well as enabling you to allow or reject any link that appears on your site (AdSense itself does this too with URL filters) The statistics section allows you to see how well your site is doing. The ads are small just like AdSense’s and they’re just as easy to set up. Registration for MarketBanker is free.

BidClix ( http://www.bidclix.com)
BidClix is different as advertisers compete for clicks on your site, which is meant to generate the highest possible profits for your page. It has a very large pool of advertisers which ensure there are plenty of people to choose your site. It requires more refinement on site contents then AdSense. Real time statistics are available, it is very easy to get started with this service and also very flexible.

What you get is about the same as AdSense, there are targeted text ads, you can view the revenues from your website in real time. You can receive money via PayPal or by fortnightly cheques provided that you have earned more then $50.
